I heart hand-me-downs.

I just ran into a neighbor who has an adorable 4 month old named Odessa. She’s a cutie and gave me the biggest smile and happiest giggle when she saw me. :-) Anyway, as babies are wont to do, they outgrow their clothes quickly, so Kat gave me a bunch of Odessa’s stuff.

Baby clothes

25 Pajamas
3 Dressing gowns
4 Onsies
4 T-shirts
11 Pairs of jeans
8 Pairs of pants
2 Sweatshirts
4 Dresses
3 Receiving blankets
1 Wash cloth

Total score!

Most everything is sized 0-3 months and 3-6 months. There are few pieces that are 9 months to a year. I weeded a few things out. There were a couple of adorable summer dresses for 18 months, but by the time Peanut is that age, it will be wintertime. I also decided to pass on anything that read Princess, Spoiled, Diva and the like. I just can’t put that kind of stuff on my kid. I’ll send it to the Goodwill down the street this weekend.

I’m going to pick up some storage bins at the Container Store tomorrow and label them with sizes. Once I get everything washed up, I can sort them into the bins and use them as the time comes.
